A message from the founder
As someone who’s been obsessed with matcha for years, I spent way too much time (and money) at cafes, only to get drinks that were full of sugar, artificial ingredients, and just didn’t feel authentic. That’s why I wanted to start What The Matcha.
We source our matcha directly from Uji, Japan, a region known for producing the highest quality matcha for centuries. Our matcha is 1st harvested, sugar-free, and free from artificial colors or additives. I wanted to create a brand that not only tastes incredible but stays true to the traditional, pure matcha experience.
But it’s more than just quality ingredients. What The Matcha is about creating a community of matcha lovers who value authenticity and want to be part of something special. Matcha, merch, recipes and more.
